Bitcoin is also accepted but is less private. If you use Bitcoin, consider using a mixing service (e.g., Wasabi Wallet or Samourai Wallet) to obfuscate your transaction history before depositing to Nexus Market.

Copy the collateral note address from the Wallet page and send funds from your external wallet. For Monero, you'll need to specify a payment ID (provided by Nexus Market) to ensure the funds are credited to your account. Bitcoin collateral notes do not require a payment ID.

Nexus Market requires 3 confirmations for Monero collateral notes and 6 confirmations for Bitcoin collateral notes. This process can take anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours, depending on network congestion. You'll see the funds in your account once the required confirmations are met.

Avoid sending small test collateral notes. Nexus Market may flag accounts that receive multiple small transactions as suspicious. Instead, send the full amount you intend to use in a single transaction.

After sending funds, check the Wallet page to confirm the collateral note has been credited. The balance should update automatically, but you may need to refresh the page. If the funds don't appear after the required confirmations, contact Nexus Market's support team with your transaction ID.
